"If there is no struggle there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, yet depreciate agitation- are the same ones who want and expect crops without ploughing the ground"

Frederick Douglass
Anthropologist, Wounded Warrior

Racine (Les Racines- the Root) is the compost, our dreams, visons and ideas are precious jewels that- if planted properly will heal ourselves and the world.
The Revolution will not be televised- for the revolution is from withinside - planted firmly in African Diasporic pride. You, me, I she, them, he words that only divide. Without a heathy you I can never be alright. Let us pray and embrace eachother's broken pieces tight- with humility and a compassionate heart. Be the change in the world you want to see. Start with the worlds microcosim- each of our individual families.

In the courageous spirit of all who have come before we

may we all rest in joy and peace

I will attend January 3rd meeting at Blueberry's read to work

Viva Barak, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, Anya, Anthony, Kelly and all who were moved to action.... Adelante!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am excited about attending the upcoming meeting. I really enjoyed working with everyone in Racine on the Barack Obama for President campaign. Glad to know that efforts have been made to keep us connected so that we can continue to work together to work to improve our immediate community of Racine, WI.
