The following message does not necessarily reflect the position of others. I am only speaking for myself. Much of this information comes from the Sierra Club.

IMPORTANT NOTE: While I initiated this event on Yes We Can Racine, I have been called out of town on business. I will not be able to attend. If you are still interested in going, post a note here and perhaps you can coordinate carpooling.
Greetings, group. I am interested in a variety of environmental issues, but especially renewable energy and sustainable food production. I would be happy to share information about either of these.
Hi Tony! My husband Eric and I attended the meeting at Glenda's today, along with her friend from out of town. Even though it was just the four of us the you could feel the electricity in the air! Glenda rocks and I feel great things in the future with this group! Look forward to seeing you at the Yacht Club Tuesday.
Tony, sorry I missed the mtg this a.m. I have been sick as a dog and had hoped I would be siufficiently recovered in time to attend. But, alas, it didn't happen. I will be talking with Meg, Linda and Kay later to get the scoop. Hope it went well.
Hi Tony,
I was there at the first meeting. I am so thrilled at the prospect of Community for change. After being the recipient of a kidney/pancreas transplant in January of this year,I knew that I had to try again to be really active in this effort to change lives. I have experienced in being uninsured, and disabled-most of my adult life.
Lets Make a better life for ourselves and our community!!!
Terri Jackel-Orange team member, but loved working out of headquarters too
Hi Tony,
I'm always so behind! Looking forward to the meeting (I will most likely be the last one in the door!). As for the photo it's just a crop from a drawing I did. Don't do online photos. Gotta run so I'm not the last one in the door at work. Have a good one!
Hi Tony, well done with YWCR! I discovered you on the MyBO blog when I posted a one-off community service event I'm organizing here in KC for January 31st. We're going to paint an Elementary School in the urban core in connection with the KCMO public school district and a non-profit YouthFriends for which I volunteer. I wanted to spark something to keep the team mojo going here in KC even though the administration is conjuring a plan (with tech tools) to build the movement. Short of having access to the Obama VAN, I'm pondering what the best vehicle is to maintain the online social network. What you've done with Ning is great -- do you think the Obama database plus MyBO would be a better platform if that becomes available to NTLs? Meantime, thanks for allowing me to observe YWCR though I'm not much good to you from KCMO. Cheers, Willow
